Atonement of the Dead
This sculpture depicts a tortured soul. Unable to rest in peace as demonic hands pull at the mortals soul. Each of us are bound to our own eternal hell which can grip us at any moment throughout our lives. This bond is tied to flesh and soul. The sculpture embodies our own unique torment inside us all. I wanted to emphasize the tension between life and death in this piece.
